Tom and Group,

I know 'American Limited Models' produced this GATC Tank Car in HO Scale about 10-15 years ago, but it was a newer welded seam prototype, and they did several paint schemes and road names including Q-predecessor roads SP&S, NP, and GN, but unfortunately not CB&Q. These cars are long out of production but can still be found at Train Shows, Hobby Shops and on eBay.

Another company has started producing the same GATC tank car in HO Scale and has some ready for sale and others for Pre-Order. These are highly detailed and with prototypically correct paint schemes and details. They appear to be the welded seam design, but the prototype car was built in 1949 and newer, so hopefully they will be doing a riveted car and with a CB&Q paint scheme. I know the Athearn tank car is good for the larger, later CB&Q diesel service tank cars, and I have several of them, but I am looking to model these earlier riveted cars with the large domes.
