End Cab Models a number of years ago offered custom painted and lettered 
model kits of the Athearn tank car that Leo referred to. There are not 
bad looking cars and good stand-ins. Jim Singer is listed as one of 
contributors to the project.
They are not the 232000 series, but 231000 series built 1918 by Standard 
Steel Car Company. The historical information inserted into the kits 
says these cars were in both diesel oil and lube oil service.
They did three numbers (231001, 231012, 231033) in black and one number 
(231036) in oxide red.
I ordered multiple kits back then and found I have one of each of the 
above stashed away. If anyone is interested in purchasing any of them, 
email me off list.
