The Q ran a East St, Louis-Lincoln time freight symbolled as No.71.  It ran via Alton-West Alton (where it picked up Lincoln traffic from N. St, Louis)-Hannibal-Brookfield-St. Joe (not via KC)-Falls City.  At Lincoln it delivered to the Denver and Grand Island trains and other connections.

   According to wheel reports I have for the C&I two of these ran on train #181 listed below.

        CBQ 83703 – (L) Steel John Deere East Moline 11/30/70

        CBQ 83703 -  (L) Coils John Deere East Moline 12/13/70

        CBQ 83704 – (E) Rockford Agent 11/30/70
