The Penney express cars ( reefers, boxcars, and baggage cars) were frequent visitors to many roads…. The B60 baggage cars ( and the subclasses ) and the X29 boxcars were the most frequent, just due to the size of the fleet….
I gather from photos that the Q must have done quite a bit of express business with the NYC as well… which is part of the reason the train in the photo that started this thread has a flexivan… Even the California Zephyr carried Flexivans for a time….
