[CBQ] Shovelnose Prime Movers

Pat Egan and I have been trading phone calls and emails regarding the
upgrading of the Winton 201A prime movers in the 9900-9907B shovel noses to
EMC/EMD 567 s.  
I have the EMD Locomotive Reference Data manuals from 1950 and 1955 and they
do not indicate any of the units had 567 s (9908, built after the first E5
s, had a 567 as built).
I checked the BURLINGTON BULLETIN on shovelnoses and couldn't find any
reference to them being repowered.
Anybody on the list have more information about this matter, especially as
relates to the 9900?
