This is not a postcard for mailing but rather an advertising card, with the main message on one side and a photo pasted on the other. It was pretty clearly produced by and for distribution by the railroad's West Coast passenger agent and dates to the
1882-85 era, the Burlington having reached Denver in May 1882 and use of the Burlington Route herald beginning in about 1885. Unfortunately the card has been cut down, with at least a half inch of one end cut off, eliminating the words GOING EAST from the
top of the message.

Subject: [CBQ] Great Burlington Route postcard
A person named Ann Oliver sent me/BRHS two image of a post card she has. She wanted to know if they were produced by the 'Q' and are they of any value to collectors. Here is her message.
I have a small card 2 3/4" x 4" with a picture of Niagara Falls and appears to be an advertisement for the Burlington Route, indicating the tickets can be purchased at the Union Overland Ticket office in San Francisco. I can't seem to find anything like
it. Could you tell me what it is and if it is of any value. Thanks for your time and be well. Ann Oliver
Anyone have any knowledge about this? Her email address is:
ann.oliver65@gmail.com
Thanks.
