re;  auto identification
I don't know anything about old cars but shared the photo with a friend who does.  He said it looked like a 1940 Dodge Coup.  Hope this helps.

The best way I've found to look at different States is to change the State name in the Web address.  And for some reason, the State's name must be capitalized.
Depending on the State, you may have to scroll down past some historical discussion to see the plates.

Dennis,

I have no clue as to who took the photo let alone who the kids are in the photo. 😉

I’m just trying to date the photo of the Hubinger Factory behind them!

Dave:

What approximate year are you thinking the photo was taken? I would think the ages of the children would provide a better time frame than the vehicle year, assuming something is known about the youngster’s identity.

Well, I believe that pretty much nails it!

Thanks to all who offered their input.  This is to help date a photo for the next BRHS Burlington Bulletin on Keokuk, Iowa, and the various Burlington lines through it.  This is going to be an issue you won’t want to miss!

Dave;

I'm pretty confident that is a 1940 Packard 110 Business Coupe.  I explored purchasing a vintage Packard a couple of years ago and that model is one I looked at.  With my wife's encouragement, I came to conclude that I didn't need another hobby!  ;-)

Kind regards,
