With respect to including a measuring scale in photographs.... there have been articles in the literature regarding poles marked with alternating black and white stripes, which could be leaned against the building being photographed. One can then use the known measurements on the pole to calculate measurements of other elements in the picture. I created one of those poles many years ago, and still have it. I found a set of 4' fiberglass rods (for chimney sweep, etc) at a yard sale. I painted the rods white, and let them dry. I then masked for the desired scales, and painted black, 2 rods are 1' stripes. 1 rod is 6' stripes. 1 rod is 3' stripes. Frank Dekker _._,_._,_
