Weldon - The locomotive is a 2-6-0 type, either a Class H-1 or H-2.  I can not read the smoke box number plate to positively ID the Class.  Yes, please share the snow plow image with us, too. Merry Christmas - Louis

This photo is a locomotive on the Holdrege-Sterling line, west of Farnam, NE taken on February 7, 1915. Is it possible to identify the locomotive from this picture and/or the date and location of service? I have companion photos of the snow plow that opened this cut in the snowdrift if anyone is interested.
