Several years ago, back in 2005, I took the BWL 2-8-2 and modified it with several Cal Scale castings and a new oil bunker for the tender. It's an O-4, number 5512. I did an article for the Bulletin as well on the project. I'm proud of the conversion and think
it is a very close model of the engine.
Attached are some photos of it.

By now you know that the short answer is NO.
The CB&Q O1, O1a, etc. were distinctive designs with essentially the same “mechanism” with Hodges trailing trucks. The O4 class were stock USRA Heavy Mikados as built. Some later got Delta trailing trucks in place of the Cole version they were built with.

Is there a good non-brass HO scale model of 4960 or a close stand-in?
Broadway did a heavy mikado some time ago (maybe recently as well?) that included a CB&Q marked version. I am not a steam locomotive authority that I can say how close the model is to 4960. Hopefully Charlie Vlk (and others of course) can comment on how close
the model is. Charlie did its artwork, so I feel confident in saying the markings are proper.
