| One story that hear periodically is that the C&NW shoved a line of steamers into the CGW Winton tunnel and then collapsed it o seal them in. There are so many factual and logical holes in this story that it boggles my mind that anyone would think that this was true for even a moment.

All- Perhaps the extant B&LE 2-10-4 that is a copy of the Burlington Colorado types is the basis for the M-4-in-a-barn myth. Photos of it lack the cows but it is in a somewhat dark warehouse….
