Pete - You're the BEST!  Thank you.  So, it was Ashland.  Thus, referring to page 8 in BB No. 55, this is the second exhibition train set.  There's not enough information given to name a specific day in October.  Perhaps, your friend Mike Bartels can tell us what day the train set visited Ashland if there are surviving records.

 

In any event, my photograph and your background information will allow for a nice follow-up in BB No. 56. I've said it before and I'll say it again, isn't this a WONDERFUL group to where a 62-year-old photograph of a Denver Zephyr train set can be so quickly identified. Some day I look forward to meeting you - Louis
