I had forgotten about the EA and EB units which certainly were available for 
additional HP.   The CZ had their F3s and they were apparently sufficient.
The C&I trains look to be the driving force for more HP as the Zephyr boosters 
seem to find the most use there.  The 1956 DZ could not normally be operated 
with only two Es but that is after the MU application.
Was the Pass Dept promotion effort responsible for heavier trains which forced 
E unit front MU or was it economy to combine trains...or both?
