Bob and Tom,
The photo location along the Joint Line is as Bob has indicated. I have been collecting as much info about this joint line between Galena JCT/Portage and East Dubuque as I can locate over the past few years. The location from which the photo was taken looks to be a favorite vantage point of the Nelson brothers through the years. I have found a number of photos taken by them from a signal bridge there. Most of the photos were CGW, however.
