While most FEC trains are indeed hauled by pairs of GEVOs spliced by an LNG tender, there are still a few mainline trains pulled by good 'ol EMD power:

Of possible further interest to the list - the lead unit on the train in the video, FEC 436, is ex-BN 3031, nee-CB&Q 631.

Even though an LNG burning 4-8-4 would've sounded the same, I think I'd miss the smoke and cinders or soot. Just wouldn't be quite the same with burning liquefied natural gas.....  But, "Clean Steam" does have a nice ring to it, don't you agree - Louis
