To add to Leo's the IVN was cut back Walnut to Kasbeer 12/13/39 and Zearing to Kasbeer 3/25/54 so the only operation was La Salle to Zearing. EET No.3 10/29/61 shows office at La Salle 8AM-5 PM Spring Valley 7 AM-4PM NYC Crossing(Ladd and NYC Jct. no office) 7AM-3PM and 6PM-2 AM EET No.12 4/24/66 shows LaSalle 7AM-4PM Spring Valley 7AM-11:01AM Zearing is shown continuous in both No Scheduled service La Salle to Zearing in either Trains 85 and 86 operated into La Salle from Montgomery The only Data sheets I have shows a Local Train Mendota 7:30 AM to Kewanee 11:30 and return with side trip daily Zearing to La Salle. And then you would have the NYC operating NYC Jct to Zearing and they used the overhead bridge and the Main Line Crossovers to wye the power to go home. In looking at my Train Sheet Collection Mainline Aug 26, 1965 Train No. 78(All extras) engines 916 and 907 on duty Galesburg 830PM Depart GT 9:17 PM 31-47-3592Arrived Zearing 11:17 Depart south to La Salle 11:58 with 0-12-617 no times shown at La Salle back into Zearing 2:35 AM with 8-4-482 Departure would have been on Sheet of Aug.27 Earlier in the day yesterdays No. 78 Extra had been on duty GT 6:45 PM with 161CB and 124CD had departing Zearing 1:23AM (Montgomery -Zearing on Left side of sheet) NYC 1854 dept.
