Scott,

I had already purchased slide duplicates from Al Chione of a number of the photos, but I did purchase it. All of the photos are in color. The Q/C&S/FW&D cars in the volume are only the ones that made it to Dallas so that Dick Kuelbs could photograph.

These are the Burlington related cars in the volume:

Anaconda (FW&D), two photos of Castle Crest (C&S), 2 photos of Castle Range (FW&D), Cedar Rapids (RI - used on Zephyr Rocket), Lariat Range (FW&D), Rocket Tower (RI - used on Zephyr Rocket), 3 photos of Spanish Crest (FW&D), 2 photos of Wadena (FW&D), and Zephyr Tower (CB&Q). There are also several D&RGW cars.

If you want a excellent reference of Pullman heavyweight sleepers from the 1950's and early 1960's, this volume covers it. Most all of these cars were pool cars, so they could appear almost anywhere they were needed.

Has anyone on this list obtained this latest book, entitled Pullman Heavyweight Sleepers, Part IV?  I seem to recall several familiar names from this list commenting on it in the Passenger Car List yahoo group.  I am curious if it has much that would be useful to CB&Q fans/modelers if one already has the series of Bill Glick books.

Thanks,

Scott Myers
