Thanks Rupert, Hol and everyone for the great responses. The motor car roster is very detailed and I am going to study it even more than I have already. Hol, thanks for the clarification on the build/rebuild date info. I had never heard about them being used as switchers, and find that very interesting! Any info on where? I guess it would be no more difficult than switching with an F unit vision wise! I am modeling in G Scale, period 1935 to 1965 loosely based on the Q and all BN predecessors, so I guess I can get away with at least one motor car on my layout.
