No Burlington motor cars were built as late as November 1941; that date indicates a rebuilding into another configuration or a renumbering, not construction of a new car.


The C&S and FW&D both ceased motor car operation in the 1940s, but the Burlington continued to operate several cars into the early 1960s, with a couple still in use as switchers as late as 1965.

Thanks for that great reference to the motor cars.

Interesting that some were built as late as November 1941.

I noticed that some were scrapped possibly as late as 1971.  

Does anyone know when the last run of a motor car occurred on the Q, C&S,  or FW&D???
