I believe that one was Del Monte's, much newer and smaller than  ones built by the Q.

The lake that the Q built outside Galesburg,IL to supply locomotive water is pretty well known.
Tonight while looking for something else in old plat maps I found another that I do not recall ever being mentioned. Sure surprised me when I saw it on the map and clearly marked as owned by the C.B. & Q.

At what other location between Chicago and Galesburg did the Q develop a lake to supply water ?
