I was raised very near PdC in the 50's and 60's so I will try and add what I can.  First, The PDF is pretty close to what was there rail wise.  The house track behind the depot and the wye were there as were the sidings etc north of the depot.  3M added a siding to its new facility, but I can not say with certainty when that was, but I think around 1966-1967 or so.  The depot platforms were removed in the 70's.  The CTC plant (controlled by the depot agent/operator and controlling access to single track over the Wis. river bridge) was in place from a few blocks N of the depot to south of the river. The biggest change is where the highway crossings are now vrs where they were then. In addition the super elevation on the curve south of the depot was removed after passenger service ended.

The MILW tracks on St. Feriole island were all there in various states of repair, so actually not much has changed.  The MILWAUKEE depot was south and west of downtown along the river.  The tracks serving the fertilizer plant were there as well.

I will try to answer additional specific questions if you have them.
