Leo - Bulletin 51 made it to the Alabama Gulf Coast this afternoon. The paper envelope was ripped open and taped, too, from rough handling. Wonder "why" BRHS can't use a tough plastic envelope like what TRAINS uses? The contents, fortunately, were undamaged. Will read over the weekend, but a quick look reveals another superb issue. Noticed my grandfather L.F. Zadnichek in the image of the double headed C&NW unit coal train getting ready to deliver to the Alley Job. He was C&NW agent in Aurora at the time. Leo and all those involved in putting out the BRHS Bulletins, THANK YOU! - Louis

Dave, Leo-

Got my Bulletin 51 here in Tennessee in the mail yesterday. The envelope
was ripped open (CB&Q Fan in the Post Office??) but other than being
slightly bent the Bulletin was in good shape.

Wow!!!! The graphics came out better than I had hoped for and while I
haven't compared my original proof with the finished product I note several
improvements and additions to what I had....especially in the Aurora History
rewrite.

I hope the membership likes it as much as I do!!!

Thanks,
Charlie

Leo,

Thanks to you for the work assembling and submitting all the information and
photos! I'm glad you are pleased with the final result.

Charlie, I want to thak you also for all the work you accomplished prior to
it coming to me. The foldout map in and of itself was a monumental
undertaking and added so much to the articles.

Dave

I have received an expedited copy of BB 51. I think it came from Jim Singer
as there wasn't a note in the expedited envelope.

You both should be proud as after a long, hard struggle, what I think is a
nice final product has been produced.

Thanks for your efforts in creating this issue.
