[CBQ] Operating Questions about Omaha Area

How did the Q interchange traffic in the Omaha area?  Would everything find its way to Lincoln for classification and forwarding to Denver, Chicago or Kansas City?  Would they use Pacific Jct to move stuff south or for east-west trains to pick up blocks?
 
Also, how did they interchange with the other railroads in Omaha, were there transfer runs between the UP, RI, Milwaukee, CN&W and MoPac?  It seems there would be a fair amount of interchange at the stockyards but I'm interested in the other general freight generated and received for all the industries in the downtown area.
 
Are there any books or articles that cover the operations in the Omaha area?
