How many people thought of taking a photo of an ash pit?? Most coal Chutes are in the back ground of photos. The holes were probably less than 1/2 in. in dia., so in HO scale, they wouldn't be visible to the naked eye. I'm really after the overall colors and texture from a bird's eye view.
