Doug..Sorry about the water tank..Yes there was an engine house..I know exactly where it was and have a photo or two of it...Taken from a second floor window of the old ELMS HOTEL..when you get there ask some of the old timers about the Elms Hotel..It burned in 1955..Jim C and I stayed there in 1951, 53 and 54...Talk about an ideal location for train pictures...Be sure to ask me about the story Jim "cooked up and told about why we needed to stay in a southwest corner room... Let me know when you're ready to talk Villisca Railroads...I might even make a special trip over to give you a guided tour..I've got lots to talk about regarding Villisca and Clarinda and not many are interested so you can be a "captive audience if you want to be.
