At Hannibal yard the Wabash would bring us a string of cars and place  
them on a track right next to the river.  We called this track the  
Katy Transfer.  If you recall, the Wabash bought out the Katy in the  
early 20s.  We would take a string of cars for the Wabash and spot  
them on a Wabash track up town where their yard engine would pull  
them.  Don't know anything about time frame for this agreement.  It  
seemed to happen daily.  Archie
