My BN 1971 Motive Power Annual, page 44, shows that GP40s 170-189 and 620-639 all came from CB&Q vs. C&S.

What is the story about these units?  Delivered in 1968 I believe.  They are in the society rosters I have seen.   How were they painted on delivery?  Red?  Were they sublettered?  Did they get green paint before or after the merger?  were they sublettered in the  green paint?   Did they run through to Denver?  How were they used?  Anyone have any images??
