Hi Keith,
If you are looking for fresh out of the paint shop gray then our MODELflex
CB&Q Imitation Aluminum is the paint for you. Our paint color was matched to
the Dupont dry plate standard that Dupont used to make the
Q paint and then lighten for scale so it's pretty much dead on. Now
since this is a light gray it faded very fast and every time the Q washed their
F's and the sun beat down on them the gray turned whiter and whiter. So if you
want a more weathered look you can just add a few drops of white to
our gray until you get the look you want and spray away. If I can be of any
other help please feel free to email me at any time.
Thanks

Subject: [CBQ] F7 Grayback Paint
Suggestions for Modeling
Are there any CBQ modelers on this list that can advise me? I have
an ABA set of unpainted F7 plastic diesel locomotives in S scale that I want
to paint in the CBQ Grayback freight scheme. What available modeler 's
paint should I buy at a hobby shop or order? Any suggestions would be
most appreciated.
Keith
