Model Railroader Paint Shop suggested four parts reefer white and on part reefer gray. I’ve also heard nine parts reefer white and one part reefer gray, so you may have to experiment to get a shade that looks good to you. The BRHS paint chart suggests Model Flex CB&Q Imitation Aluminum, but I find it too gray. In sunlight, a clean Grayback looked almost white. Intermountain F units look better to me than P2K F units, which are a little too dark with a very slight  yellowish tint to my eye.

Are there any CBQ modelers on this list that can advise me?  I have an ABA set of unpainted F7 plastic diesel locomotives in S scale that I want to paint in the CBQ Grayback freight scheme.  What available modeler 's paint should I buy at a hobby shop or order?  Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
