Jan - Thanks for sharing images of CB&Q Nos. 307 and 155. Much
appreciate. I think the two oldest images I can contribute are of CB&Q
9 and 94:
CB&Q inside connected No. 9 with tiny one-truck tender. According to
the Corbin book, No. 9 had an unknown origin, was rebuilt at the
Aurora Shops in 1864-5 and retired at an unknown date.
CB&Q 94 was a dainty 4-4-0T with elaborate paint scheme. According to
the Corbin book, No. 94 was built by Rogers in 1863 and retired at an unknown
date.
Any List member who hasn't visited Jan's magnificent web site is really
missing out as Jan has accumulated and digitalized the definitive
collection of Q steam locomotive images. Any other really old Q images out there
for sharing?
