Hi Harold,

I think Hol nailed it by identifying #243 as Frannie. It has the small yard on a curve, which can still be seen in Google Satellite view.

Here is the Basin depot on our friend Mark Brunton's CB&Q in Wyoming website: http://www.thecbandqinwyoming.com/images/Historical/Basin/basindepot.jpg

It has the lower roof, unlike the the one in #208.

#398 is another interesting one. It looks like Thermopolis where the tracks cross the Bighorn river. The words on the hill are "Worlds Largest Mineral Hot Springs."

#396 and #399 are also from Thermopolis, along with the already identified #391 and #394 .#386, #387, #388. #389 and #390 are probably there too or nearby.

Take care,

Chris,
Also remember the Mutual Oil Refinery in Cowley and the Empire Refinery in Thermopolis.  A 4 letter name would be Basin I understand they shipped a lot of turkeys from there.  I have seen only one photo of that depot very old.  Tanks would also have been north of Worland for sulphur But those cars would be weathered with sulphur yellow

Could #243 be Cody, WY?

There was a Husky oil refinery in Cody explaining all the tank cars, and it was at the end of a branch, so a 2 stall roundhouse wouldn't be out of the question. Also, the mountains in the background are closer than the Bighorns than they are in Greybull, Lovell, Worland, etc. The curved tracks should give it away, but they don't really fit the current tracks anywhere in that area.

By the way, #204 is the Worland, WY sugar factory.

The one that has me stumped is #208. It is the same style and color as the depot in Lovell, but it's obviously not the same as #233. I can't make out the name. Looks like four letters.

Hol and or group, Image # 243 is a mystery location with several
clues. There is a two stall engine house with a water tank and stock
yards . Also a small yard with at least 4 tracks and most notably a
mile post numbered 459. Appears to be out west and just a few images
past Thermopolis depot and Wind River Canyon I think. Image 115 is
one of the Black Hill depots and # 109 is De Soto depot in Wisconsin I
believe. Archie
