I have been told Pendulum Cars did not ride well with other equipment either
lwt. or hwt. thats why it was connected to one particular gas-electric .
Painted to match the car.   AT&SF and GN also each had one Pendulum.
Somebody made a brass one years ago, I remember seeing it in a Walthers mid
80's catalog, also American Beauty had one (GN) back in the 50's.

gn also one Pendulum each

Knowing you're a GN fan, here's a shot of the Silver Pendulum in service on the
GN.

Subject: [CBQ] Pendulum Car

I recently acquired a copy of Al Holck's Burlington
Route Color Pictorial Volume 1 and noticed a photo of Burlington's pendulum
car on page 46. I don't recall ever having seen a color photo of the car
before,
but in black and white photos it always looked pretty silver to me. This photo,
and the caption, seem to indicate that it was "silver-gray." Does anyone have
any suggestions as to what an appropriate paint might be for a model of this
car?

Thanks for any help you can provide.
