Rich, yes you can purchase photos. Go to the Mercantile Library in St Louis, 
they have a website. http://www.umsl.edu/mercantile/barriger/index.html   But 
be prepared. Photos are $50, $35 for members.
 
John Barriger was a railroad official, whom Roosevelt put in charge as chief of 
the Railroad Division of the Reconstruction Finance Corporation, during the 
30’s. He was an avid photographer. His collection contains over 60,000 images.
