Pete,
Not really mislabeled. St.J&GI was a UP subsidiary who built the line originally and turned it into the KC&O almost immediately after it was completed. The Q did acquire it in 1907. I know knit picking but what the hey. I am very glad to see the McCool Junction depot has been preserved. Even has a BN green way car. Spring Ranch needs help. Starting from Benedict Neb to McCool Junction, to Lushton, Spring Ranch, Roseland and Alma were originally built  by St.J &GI/UP and that is why they all look like early UP buildings. I have a CD in this junk yard of many of the Q depots made several years ago. My CD drive is down, but when I can get it fixed will see if I can post it.
Noel

Good photos, but two are mis labled...

Town                             Labeled                                    Should be

McCool Jct                  St. J & GI                                    KC&O   CB&Q

Spring Ranch               St. J. GI                                       KC&O   CB&Q

Roseland..heritage not labled, but it's original KC&O   CB&Q

KC&O was built by UP...then purchased by cB&Q about 1908.

Pete
