I modeled Clover Camp in Pullman Green using the NKP Car Company kit for my
Blackhawk consist, and used the Microscale 87-1221 decal set. Unfortunately,
as Rich states, I had to "cannibalize" the carnames on the sheet to get
individual letters for Clover Camp, just as I have done for most of my other
Pullman sleeping car models used on the CB&Q.

Bill,
By the way, there was also a Champ "Super Set" call PH-59 that had the
betterment names and the PULLMAN for the Letterboard, but did not include the
"Clover" names. I have several of these sets. After searching through my
rather extensive passenger decal collection, it appears that the "Clover" names
were not printed in the post-1952 SSS scheme, or even the Dulux Gold HW
lettering. As Charlie suggests, it looks like a cut and patch job for these
names.

Bill-
IIRC Micro-Scale has Zephyr-style lettering as alphabet sets. Their CZ or
other streamlined sets could also provide all the letters necessary to piece
together the names.
Some of the silver painted Heavyweight cars were lettered in "Ribbon Style"
lettering and not the Zephyr style, and that set is also available from
MicroScale.

I received a flyer from NKP Car Co that they will be doing HO car kits
for the Pullman (leased and CB&Q purchased) "Tower" series as well as
the "Clover" series. I have looked at the pictures in Bill Glick's book
as well as other books. There was a discussion thread on these cars
about a year ago, but question that really was not answered was were
decals available for these cars?
As was noted previously, these cars o nce the Q purchased them (and they
were still under Pullman lease) had PULLMAN in the Zephyr lettering on
the letter board with the name of the car also in Zephyr lettering. Bill
Glick's book shows several different car series with this type
lettering. The Microscale CB&Q heavyweight decal set (which I have) does
not have the proper lettering for these cars. I have an portions of an
old Champ CB&Q Passenger Car decal set and it does not appear to have
the correct lettering either.
So if anyone has previously built and lettered these cars, how did they
do so?
