The west switch at Oregon is about 2000 feet west of Devil's Backbone Road,
just beyond the sand plant. It does not extend into the Burlington Road cut. As
Ryan mentioned, the track layout is unusual - the main jogs slightly, and the
siding switch is situated in the middle of the jog. It reminds me of a
lower-case letter "y".

Besides the pot at the west end of Aurora siding, there are still pot signals
at both ends of Sugar Grove, on the UP (CNW)/Del Monte connector at Rochelle,
both ends of Chadwick, both ends of Burke, and eastbound on Main 1 at the
Stockyard signal in Savanna. The west ends of Shabbona and Stratford had their
pot signals replaced within the last year with new mast-mounted searchlights.
