What a delightful New Year’s present!!!!   

 

For the Silver Charger, I’d hunt down some of the plastic-framed E8 units from Life-Like.   Easy enough to  cut the frame and they actually were pretty decent runners.

For the EA units I would likewise use the plastic-framed FA2 units…again the frames will be easy to torture and the trucks will work fine.  

 

As to the Aeolus, I will most likely use a Micro-Ace Pacific Mechanism….that, or a Con-Cor Hudson mech.   Trimming down the valve gear and cylinders shouldn’t be too much of a big deal.

 

2013 is going to be a good year for N Scale!!!
