I remember giving him a cup of coffee from my thermos and him then pouring it
into his thermos and adding water. Unbelievable. And I remember some
"interesting" off-engine excursions of his. Between him and Tripper, 11643 was
an experience, to say the least. The "colorful" characters was a lot of what
made RR work so interesting every day.
