That the "Alley" on the west side north of River St? I'm not sure either. I think I only worked it one time and there was maybe one car load (Beacon?). It was abolished in 70's, wasn't it? I do remember there was a 2-man yard job of some kind. Doug

My understandingmemory from past reading of the files is that the companys logic was we took off a 2 man motor car so a 2 frt man frt job on a lightly travelled branch w/o any other movements and no mainline movements beyond town should not be a problem for 2 men.
 
Now here's a question for you and some of the others Q/BN vets that has come to mind. Was the day Aurora switch job a two man crew ? I seem to remember that but it's getting a bit hazy. If so I'm sure the discussion was about how little the job had to do in the shops and local industry.
