Hello All,
It is a cast iron fly wheel from a steam tractor.
the rib is to keep a canvas belt from working off it.

Hi all,

This one stumped me…initially I thought it might be a wheel from a farm implement, but I’m not sure.

If anybody has an idea of what this wheel might be for, please chime in!!

Subject: Wheel

I bought some old Railroad Property and was told it was part of the old CB&Q line. I found an old Railroad wheel on the property. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what it was from. It is a relatively small wheel, measuring 29" tall. The lip or rib isn't along the inside of the wheel that you typically see, it runs through center of the wheel. I have attached some pictures. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
