Subject: [CBQ] 1924 Q Earnings Stats

 

I thought the group might enjoy a couple suprising Q earnings stats. I dredged up from a 1924 Annual Report while researching some things.

 

Carloads of poultry orginated: 2,066,received in interchange 3,392 total handled 5,458 ! (These are live as fresh meats are listed seperately)

 

Carloads of eggs: orginated 5,020,received in interchange 1,499 total handled 6,519 !

 

Carloads of Ice: orginated 4,155,received in interchange 19 total handled 4,174.

 

 

Archie,Bob,Doug,Karl,Pete and others what do you think the lading would have looked like if we had handled these products in our work years ?!
