Thank you for posting this video on YouTube for ALL to see.

Most filming of steam excursions by railfans were done on 8mm film, three minutes at a time, and have been packed away for years -- possibly lost to time.

 

Maybe others have some of these old films that they could dig out and share.

 

I never had an opportunity to ride one of the excursions, but was fortunate to see a few fly by at a "mile-a-minute" to destinations unknown to me. Wish that I could have been aboard at least once.
