Larry,

Actually, the Long Grove, IA address is correct. The place where the caboose is located is a county park called Walnut Grove Pioneer Village. There is not town of Walnut Grove in that area except for the re created village at the county park. I took some photos of the caboose about a year and a half ago. I am not home right now, but will find the photos and post one or two when I return early next week. On days when the park is open, the caboose interior is available for viewing. The caboose is in relatively good shape. It is coupled to a small four wheel gas locomotive. If you search the address on Google maps, you can see a satellite  of the park and the caboose.

Just to note, on the list of Surviving CB&Q Waycars,
this caboose does not sit in/at 18817 290th street Long grove, Iowa.
That address comes up just a little ways North East in a little place called Walnut Grove, I looks to be sitting at the end of a kind of old west looking town area, I'm guessing made to look this way, but where the flag comes up on the map it's just to the right where the last buildings are sitting, the caboose it behind the red building.

I do still plan to get pictures of this when I get the time to run back over there on a nicer day.

Larry L Doub,
Aledo, IL
