Gerald may have covered this. But in direct response to your question, Galena
Jct. was about 15 miles north of Savanna on the Illinois side of the
Mississippi, and just south of the Galena (nee Fever) River. Just north of the
Galena River the Burlington joined and had trackage rights over the IC
northward to East Dubuque. Just south of the the Junction, CGW had trackage
rights on Burlington ROW for a short distance.
