My 1964 Alignment Chart clearly states "M.P. 77.83 Second Main Begins". This is also shown as the location of the switch leading to the Milw's Rochelle & Southern. CTC interlocking signals are also diagrammed at this same point. However, the chart shows this track as continuing East, through Steward proper and past the depot to about MP 77.2. This apparently un-signaled extension of what was the Second Main track ends at that point with an electrically locked switch. Also near the depot there is a third double ended track, which appears to be a house or industrial track. This third track connects to the second track and extends from about MP 77.3 to about 77.47. -- Bill Angus Chicago, IL [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
