In Zephyr No. 47 there is a "Standard Color Scedule for Painting Structures" 
dated 3-22-1930 It contains the specs for everything from Pass. depots to water 
tanks and coal chutes. Frame depots were as follows: Interior walls, light 
buff; ceiling, old ivory; trim, doors, and sash, if pine or fir-Seal Brown, if 
oak-Golden Oak; Wainscot, pine fir or plaster-Seal Brown, oak-Golden Oak. Along 
the bottom of the page are samples of the colors.  Dick Scjhultz

I can't speak about the interior colors at Buda, but I have photographs of
the interior of the depots formerly at Hillsboro, IA and Yarmouth, IA. The
wainscot was painted a dark brown (Hillsboro) or a color identified as seal
brown (Yarmouth) in the BRHS Data Sheep titled Standard Color Schedule for
Painting Structures. The walls were painted old ivory as specified in the
data sheet. The Yarmouth depot originally had dark brown varnished paneling
in the operator bay, but it was overpainted white at some point. The ceiling
of the both the Yarmouth and Hillsboro depots were painted a color close to
the light buff specified in the data sheet, though the waiting room of the
Yarmouth depot was later painted white. I will upload selected picture of
the interiors or both depots as they appeared in 2009. Both depots are
presently located on the Old Thrashers' Reunion grounds in Mt. Pleasant, IA.

The construction of the depot is well under way.

I have a few questions on the interior.

Do you have any idea on how the internal walls were finished. White paint?

Was the wooden floor in the ticket office noticeably pink.

Was the only door into the ticket office from the platform

No I missed the Tim Fleck Station CD. Until recently I had chosen to 
get the dialy digest. It wasn't very satisfactory.
