I was unaware of this wye.  Would it be long enough to turn 5&6 with their

Sorry, Dave, but you are wrong; there is a wye in the Santa Fe yard at Ft.
Madison whose "tail" acts as an interchange track to the Q's K-Line that
comes in from the south end of the 2-track yard and is used virtually daily
for freight interchange traffic. The "stumbling block" to use this routing
is BNSF's Passenger Service desk and an uncooperative track department.
