Richard, Certainly you are aware of "The Cheyenne Line" by Jack Gillette? 242 pages of this area. Harold Huber Ultimate Research LLC Sheridan, WY ----- Original Message ----- From: richtownsend@netscape.net To: CBQ@yahoogroups.com Sent: Friday, October 08, 2010 5:12 PM Subject: [CBQ] C&S Denver to Cheyenne history OK, group. Full disclosure time as long as we are talking about histories. I am working on a history of the C&S between Denver and Cheyenne in the steam era (through 1960), including the branches to Golden, Greeley, Lafayette, Ingleside/Rex, Black Hollow, Waverly, Arkins, and Stout, the West Side Line (at least as far south as Zang's brewery), the Jersey Cut-off. I am in regular contact with Hol Wagner, and a frequent pilgrim to the Colorado RR Museum (as well as all the local museums and libraries in the area). I welcome input, plans, maps, photos, documents, newspaper stories, information, leads, etc. from anyone. Not just of the RR itself, but also the industries it served -- the mines, mills, sugar plants, beet dumps, lumber yards, oil dealers, canneries, pickle salting stations, milk condenseries, ice houses, etc., etc. Richard Townsend Lincoln City, Oregon [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
