Thanks Arch - somewhere I have the name of the BLE Lodge in No. LaCrosse.
Anyone have an old charter or membership certificate for any of the
Brotherhoods?

Question: I know at larger terminals a Brotherhood Lodge could be made up of
the mbrs of several RR's (i.e. CB&Q, Milw & C&NW Switchmen) but I assume
smaller towns had an exclusive membership of the local RR's employees?

I've been to BLE Hdq in Cleveland yrs ago & at the time they had an archivist
who was organizing all their old records. The Bro. of Conductors was hdq'ed in
Cedar Rapdis for yrs before merging with the other operating Brotherhoods
(except the BLE that remained independent). They had a pretty nice bldg there.

Gerald
