If you are talking about the Havelock baggage cars on the CZ, there was one on my very first ride on the train, which I know was before 1955 and am sure was in 1952 or 1953. While I was a toddler at the time, I was struck by the fact that it looked different than the other cars. Since it looked black to me, I would presume it was Pullman Green, because I could not tell the difference in those days. --- On Wed, 11/11/09, Michal Basta <imibas@gmail.com> wrote: From: Michal Basta <imibas@gmail.com> Subject: [CBQ] CB&Q BA-19 on early CZ? I'm in final stage of modeling CB&Q BA-19 baggage to add some variety to my California Zephyr. Seeking for any info on PROVEN appearance of said cars on CZ till 1953 (or no later than, say, 1955). Need car#r(s) or at least info on paintscheme - in case of dated photo of BA19 on CZ (where's car# illegible). Need to decide on paintscheme (pullman green or plain silver or simulated corrugation). Bob Webber, are you listening? Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated. Michal B. ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
